Engineering Client Shipping HUGE volumes up until the final day before our Christmas break!
One of MAM’s larger Blue Chip clients are presently keeping our Engineering Department busier than ever with MAM handling the receipt, storage, consolidation, pick/pack and shipping of HVDC components across the globe… that’s High Voltage Direct Current to you and I… yeah still none the wiser… but it’s all to do with electrical transmission and distribution!
Anyway… it’s keeping us out of trouble and certainly giving the boys and girls in the warehouse ‘a variation on the theme’, as clearly these “parcels” aint exactly the same as the apparel and giftwear that MAM has been historically noted for!

This week saw our first hanging shipment to the DC of one of the UK’s very best chain stores… just in time for the 2010 product launch… a couple of TNT’s finest 40” trailers collected the initial shipment on Monday morning…

We have recently introduced this service as an option to many of our e-commerce clients and moreover their customers as they get to the point of ‘check-out’.
Certainly it assists many larger products as a guaranteed signed a.m. delivery is now an option.
